Phuket in Thailand is the perfect place to relax in the sunshine. I didn’t want to leave the fabulous resort we went to for the day. After all the tours this was a lovely day to just do nothing!
We went to the Duangjitt Beach Resort & Spa, it is very close to Pantone Beach. We had the option of staying at the resort or go to the beach. I just relaxed by the pool all day, under an umbrella. Sometimes having a dip in the pool to cool down as it was very hot around 31*C and humid.
There was a spa on site so you could have a massage or treatment. There were three swimming pools, but we had a private pool just for our small group and it was paradise as it was so peaceful.
We had lunch in the hotel restaurant which was quite a western lunch not the Thai lunch I was hoping for, but it was very nice.
The town of Phuket had lots of bars, restaurants, shops, massage parlours and nail bars all very close to Pantong Beach.
