
History is fascinating. Somehow as a race, we managed to evolve from using stones as tools to travelling into space and discovering the universe beyond our solar system. History tells us how people got to this point in civilization, and it is a great way to make us appreciate what we have.

London, England
If you are looking for a country which has a rich and wonderful history, the United Kingdom has to be on your bucket list. The UK has an incredible history dating back thousands of years, and none is more tumultuous than London’s history.
With London being the capital of the country, here is the place where Monarchs came to reign, treason often occurred, and a place where bonfire night originated. London is a weird and wacky place, and you will be able to fall deep into the cultural history of England from here.

Rome, Italy
Rome is most well-known for the huge Colosseum which stands tall in the centre of the city. Back in the day, the Colosseum was privy to battles between slaves and even animals.

Athens, Greece
Often seen as one of the most significant cities in the history of the world, Athens is perhaps best known for being one of the oldest civilized cities.
The city was founded over 7000 years ago, and many of the most famous mathematicians, scientists and philosophers came from here.
You will be able to see the ruins of the Temple of the Olympian Zeus amongst other ruins and you will truly feel immersed in the history of our world.
