There are many tech headquarters to visit in San Francisco. If you love Facebook, Google and Apple, and are heading to San Francisco you may like to visit Silicon Valley just outside of the city.
Silicon Valley is the home to many tech companies headquarters. including the Facebook HQ, Google HQ and Apple HQ. There is also Intel, eBay, Netflix and Yahoo in Silicon Valley.
I was on the Californian Coastal Cruise and we were in San Francisco for a day and a half. I have seen San Francisco before and really wanted to visit Silicon Valley. Silicon Valley is around an hour away from San Francisco by car.

Silicon Valley Tech Headquarters to Visit: Facebook HQ
I am a Facebook addict and I wanted to see where it all happens. Well, I say that, but you cannot go inside the campus!
There is a visitor carpark and you can take photos by the big Facebook sign. I was lucky as only a few people were there when I wanted to take a photo outside the Facebook sign.
As we left, the line started to form of other people wanting to do the same thing. So be prepared to wait! The Facebook HQ is located at 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California

Tech Headquarters to Visit in San Francisco: Google HQ
Next on the list was Google HQ and I could not believe how big the area Google takes. It has lots of office buildings over the size of a small town.
Again, at Google, you cannot go inside. There is a visitor carpark and you can walk around and take photos of the Google signs and props outside some of the office buildings.
The Google HQ is located at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, California

Tech Headquarters to Visit in San Francisco: Apple HQ
Apple HQ is even bigger! It takes over Cupertino the area it is in. There are office buildings everywhere.
Apple HQ is
The at the Apple Park visitor centre there is a store with all their Apple products, a coffee shop, roof terrace and model of the Apple Park Offices.
The model is quite cool as they give you an iPad (of course!) and you touch the screen the model comes to life and shows you what would be inside that part of the office.

The store has the same products as any other Apple store, and they are the same price. They do have tees, hats and bags with Apple Park written on them, which is a nice souvenir.
There is a coffee shop, that has normal priced drinks and snacks. When we were there, they were filming an Apple commercial.

The rooftop terrace is a nice place to sit and look over the visitor’s centre and over at the Apple Park offices.
The Apple Park is located at: 10600 North Tantau Avenue, Cupertino, CA 95014 and is open Monday to Friday 9:00am – 7:00pm, Saturday 10:00am – 7:00pm and Sunday 11:00am – 6:00pm (Check the website opening hours as this may have changed since writing this).
