To get into the city you can either walk, take the shuttle or a taxi to the city centre.
WHAT TO DO IN THE CRUISE PORT OF MALAGA SPAIN?
The city of Malaga is a beautiful city with pretty streets that are full of shops, bars, restaurants.
Inside the city, there is the Gothic Cathedral, El Castillo de Gibralfaro Fortress and the Picasso Museum.
There is a sandy beach to sunbathe on and swim in the sea for the day.
WHAT TOURS ARE THERE TO GO ON IN MALAGA?
There are many tours to go around the city of Malaga or towns close by, such as Marbella, Ronda, Granada or Mijas.
Inside the city, there are tours of the cathedral, the Picasso Museum or the El Castillo de Gibralfaro Fortress.
Mijas is a gorgeous whitewashed with terracotta roofs village in the mountains, 50 minutes away from Malaga.
The village has some pretty churches and lovely little shops. You can take a donkey ride around the village or easily walk around.
Malaga Cathedral is in the city centre and was built between the 16th and 18th.
The cathedral is unique due to only having one tower and is called ‘La Manquita’, which means the one-armed one, as the second tower was never completed.
Inside the cathedral, it is stunning and has a lot to see once inside.
