How do you get to Boccadasse?
There are serval ways to get to Boccadasse, it depends on which direction you are coming from. From the centre of Genoa, Piazza de Ferrari it takes around 15 mins by taxi or car. A bus takes around 30 minutes all depending on traffic, or a very long walk that takes around an hour.
What is there to see in Boccadasse?
It was originally a little fishing village and it is tiny. You can spend all day here walking around the cobbled streets, sitting on the beach, swimming in the crystal clear sea and eating some fabulous food.
Boccadasse can be easily seen in an hour to walk around take some photos and have a gelato.
It is the perfect place to have lunch or watch the sunset over dinner. The pebble stone beach is a free public beach and it is very small, it is best to arrive early in the morning or late afternoon.
There are a few restaurants, bars and ice cream shops and there is the Church of St. Anthony of Boccadasse.
