Romantic Things to Do in Tuscany

Tuscany is one region that you have to take off your bucket list before you die.

If you’ve planned to visit there before, or you’ve been on vacation once or twice and you’re looking for a third excuse, why not go with a partner?

It’s one of the most romantic places to visit on earth, and it’s one of the places that inspires love.

From booking a Tuscany personal chef service to serve you both, to taking a stroll along the water, Tuscany has much romance to offer you and your partner.

Let’s take a look at romantic things you could be doing in Tuscany to make your trip memorable.

1. Stay in a Castle

Stay in a castle. Tuscany is littered with amazing castles and their great locations.

They’re very quiet, they’re tucked away at the ends of short roads with cypresses all around, and they’re an excellent introduction to your experience of tourism in Tuscany.

The history of the castles here is just amazing and spending the afternoon with the owners explaining their history is a special experience for all.

Going out onto the balconies that the castles have to offer can help you to really take in the breathtaking views of the countryside.

    2. Head to the Beach

Head to the beach. Is there anything more romantic than sunset on the beach?

There are tons of amazing beaches in Tuscany and the islands of the archipelago are even more charming.

From Capraia Isles lighthouse to the old jail or port tower, there is a view of everything beneath every harbour.

You can invite your partner for a walk and enjoy the panorama, surrounded by nature and the sea.

      3. Take a Day for the Natural Hot Springs

Take a day for the natural Hot Springs. Did you know that Tuscany has amazing geothermal activity?

The Hot Springs are the most enjoyable result of this phenomenon.

So once you spend a day walking up and down some of the amazing streets and seeing the sights, you want somewhere that you can truly relax.

You can find several spa and thermal establishments throughout Tuscany, but the natural hot water pools and waterfalls such as the ones in San Filippo or Petroleo are the ones to go to during winter.

It’s weird to bathe in 40° water when it’s cold outside, but it’s an extremely pleasant experience.

Inviting your partner to bathe with you in one of the small pools and lighting up some candles to make it romantic is a great way to spend your time.

      4. Take a Stroll through Chianti

Take a stroll through Chianti. The area has been put on the UNESCO World Heritage Site list because of its pure and rustic beauty.

Cypresses, grass, sunflowers, poppies, and more are all there for you both to breathe in. The Chianti hills and vineyards are poetry as well.

So go for a wine tour and take your car with you. Prepare a picnic basket and pick up some amazing older wines to enjoy later.
