Villa Tenuta D’Elci is perfect for a group of friends or family.
They can enjoy being in nature and will know that they have peace and tranquility around them.
After staying on the estate, I felt incredibly rested. I was grounded in nature. Breathing in the fresh air after being in the city made a huge difference.
This spacious property features a grand living room. It has a cozy lounge with a relaxation area and a TV.
There is a fully equipped kitchen with a pantry and a dining room for meals.
The villa offers 7 elegant bedrooms, which include 5 doubles and 2 twins.
There are 6 bathrooms available. This includes 4 en suite, 1 shared, and 1 service bathroom on the ground floor.
Step outside to discover a private oasis with a stunning pool and dedicated bathroom.
There is also a barbecue area with a charming outdoor dining space that is next to the kitchen.
All of this is surrounded by lush gardens for total relaxation and privacy.
Located on the borders of Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna
The villa is located on the borders of Tuscany, Emilia-Romagna, and Marche in the heart of the Italian countryside.
When we were driving there, we were on a road in the region of Emilia-Romagna.
We then crossed the border to Tuscany, then a few minutes later back over the border of Emilia-Romagna. All good fun!
It is just under three hours by car from Florence (in Tuscany). It is one hour from Rimini (in Emilia-Romagna) on the east coast.
How to Get There
Villa Tenuta D’Elci is located in Casteldelci, a small village, an hour away from Rimini in the region of Emilia-Romagna.
The closest airport to the property is Rimini Airport which is an hour away.
Bologna Airport is a two-hour drive.
Florence Airport is a three-hour drive.
The best way to get to the villa is by driving, so hire a car from the airport.
It is good to have a car. You can drive around if you would like to go sightseeing.
It is also convenient to get groceries and visit local restaurants.
What to See and Do in the Area
When you are not relaxing by the pool, you may like to go sightseeing in the area. You could also hike around the grounds.
Visit the village of Casteldelci, which is very historic and dates back to the Middle Ages of the Montefeltro era.
Take a drive (one hour away) to San Marino, another country! It is the fifth smallest country in the world.
You are in wine country, so there are many wine tasting places nearby.
If you would like to see Rimini, it is an hour away by car and has beaches, shops, and restaurants.
Shops & Restaurants Nearby
There are supermarkets, pharmacies, and restaurants nearby in the villages.
The closest supermarket and pharmacy are 10 minutes away by car. All the information is in the welcome book on arrival.
Restaurants are a short drive away in the village, or you can go a little further. The owner provides a list of recommended restaurants in the welcome book.
We went to Osteria Madama Doré in Novafeltria, which was 30 minutes from the villa, which was fantastic. They have a great selection of local dishes and wine, and the staff are very nice.
What to Wear
The villa is only available during the summer months.
It can be quite hot in the daytime and then cooler in the evening, as you are in the mountains.
You will need swimwear, warm weather clothing, and walking shoes for hiking during the daytime.
For the evening, bring light sweaters or cardigans to go with your evening wear. Whether you are staying at the villa for dinner or going to a restaurant.
